Boot into Setup (Bios) on the main page it will list all of your drives. Or is D: a separate HDD? If D: is a separate HDD, and this is a desktop, shut down the computer and open the side of the case and make sure the HDD is plugged in with a Power plug from the PSU and the Data cable plugged in tightly to the back of the drive, and into the motherboard. Is D: a partition on the same Disk (eg) Disk0, Disk1 etc as the C: Drive? Is this a Desktop or a Laptop? What Is on the D: drive? Go to Start/Search and type diskmgmt.msc and right click the diskmgmt results and Run As Administrator.
